Wow! Was the wind blowing or what? The lake had whitecaps, big waves, wind surfers, kiters.... but no swimmers. Yes, the swim portion of the triathlon today was called off due to the high winds. It's better to be safe than sorry. But, that made for some very fast bike times, as everyone was extra fresh. We had photographers at the swim area, mid course on the bike and at the finish line. Sarah, a new photographer capturing the bikes mid course caught the eyes of many triathletes. You all smiled more for her than you did for me. :-) Anyway, please check out the photos and we ask that you order a few if you find them to your liking. Most are identified by bib numbers, but many bib numbers were not able to be seen on the bikes, so you may have to search a bit. Enjoy, and we'll see you all next year.
